Show IrisGo a boring task once, and it offers to handle it for you from then on. That is the pitch. And honestly, it is a good one.
IrisGo for Solopreneurs launched on Product Hunt on October 7, 2026, and finished the day as the #1 Product of the Day. This review is a desk review. We have not tested the beta ourselves, so every claim below comes from IrisGo’s launch posts and early coverage.
What IrisGo actually is
Most AI tools sit and wait for your next prompt. IrisGo calls itself an AI operating system, one that lives on your PC, in the background, across your apps. CEO Jeffrey Lai put the gap plainly in the launch post: “Most AI tools assume you’ll remember to use them.” Solopreneurs, he argues, need the opposite.
The launch version packs four named workflows. Daily Brief & Radar puts your three highest-priority actions first each morning, drawn from email, calendar and to-dos, and updates all day. Email Triage learns which messages are urgent or waiting on you, then flags them with their deadlines. Meeting Summary turns calls into recaps, with action items added to your priority list. My Radar keeps all your to-dos in one list that reshuffles itself.
How Watch & Learn works
Watch & Learn is the headline trick. You do a multi-step chore once, on screen, just as you always do. IrisGo watches, then drafts it to run the next round for your approval. No prompt writing. No flowcharts, no settings screens, no long setup calls with anyone.
The clearest example is expense filing. IrisGo learns how you file and label receipts, then completes future reports as new ones land. One demo, then it repeats. Medium’s roundup sketches the same idea for weekly books: demonstrate pulling a Stripe CSV, dropping the totals into your sheet and emailing the summary once, then let it rerun while you check the output. You can also teach it other repetitive tasks, including research, reporting and social media work.
Who it fits, and who should wait
This was built for one-person businesses. IrisGo cites roughly 204 hours a year lost to admin: sorting email, managing calendars, filing finances. Who has that kind of time? If your week is mostly the same five chores on repeat, week after week, this is aimed straight at you.
Wait, though, if you need a team tool today. The launch targets solopreneurs, runs on Windows and Mac only, and the product is weeks old. Solo first. Teams will have to wait, maybe for a while.
Price, limits and the honest catch
Right now, the price is easy: free. The public beta runs on Windows 11 and Apple Silicon Macs, and what it will charge after the beta ends is still unannounced. The company raised a $2.8 million seed round led by Andrew Ng’s AI Fund, with Nvidia and Google also taking part. That backing is a real credibility signal. It is still a young company, and $2.8 million runs out fast in AI.
The catch is trust. A tool that learns by watching your screen sees a lot, so the privacy design matters: IrisGo processes data on your device for privacy and speed, with cloud backup syncing across machines. That helps. It does not remove the need to check what it records first.
The verdict
If admin eats your week, IrisGo is worth the free download. The idea is simple, the launch features are the right ones for the job, and the price, for now, is nothing at all. Show it your worst chore first. See if it learns.
