Simone Biles listed her first Texas home in September 2026 at $1.275 million, and the sale closed on October 15. The run from listing to closing took about a month.
Biles shared her own count in a TikTok caption: “The house sold in 4 days.” The Houston Business Journal reported the home went under contract five days after listing.
The sale timeline
The property went under contract on September 26, four to five days after it reached the market. Because Texas is a non-disclosure state, the exact final price was not made public; the reported closing range is $1.08 million to $1.24 million.
Mansion Global reported that the home found its buyer six days after listing, based on listing records. Melissa Franklin of Re/Max Integrity held the listing.
Biles acquired the home through a trust in 2020, when it had been asking $795,600. She lived there for six years. In her TikTok video about the sale, she said: “Ugh, I didn’t think I’d be emotional about a house.”
Inside the Spring house
The house stands in the gated Castle Court section of Benders Landing Estates in Spring, about 25 miles north of Houston. Built in 2019, it covers 3,998 square feet with four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and a three-car garage, on a lot of just over one acre.
The kitchen carries a waterfall island, quartz countertops, custom cabinetry and a hidden pantry. The rest of the floor plan adds a media room, a private study and a custom wine wall with a refrigerator.
Two features are rarer. The mudroom includes a pet-washing and feeding station, and the property also has a sauna and a backyard swimming pool. Realtor.com notes the lot has no rear neighbors.
The mansion they built instead
Asked by a fan why she sold a home she loved, Biles answered: “Because we built our dream home.” Design work on the custom mansion began in 2020, construction started in February 2022, and the build finished in November 2025.
The new lakeside house in Spring includes a black-and-white kitchen with two islands, a pool and spa overlooking the water, a sports court, an in-ground trampoline and a dedicated room for their dogs. Biles and Owens moved into it in February, after the NFL season ended.
The family’s base stays in Texas. Owens signed a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts in March, and Biles told People she plans to join him in Indianapolis later while keeping the lakefront mansion as home.
One more detail from this stretch: Us Weekly reported that masked thieves stole Biles’ Porsche in Chicago before the vehicle was recovered, and that the couple got a protective Doberman afterward.
